Real ownership, without the worries
You hold a formal share in a luxury villa and the land, held in a dedicated company and recorded by deed. Not a timeshare, but genuine ownership you can sell at any time.
Eight owners share a single villa, each with a one-eighth share and around 44 days a year; to stay longer, you acquire a second or third share. And it asks nothing of you. On airport arrival, the resort driver brings you to your villa, where the refrigerator has been stocked to your wishes.
Maintenance and housekeeping are entirely handled. You simply come home.

This keeps your position clear and your share straightforward to transfer. Unlike a timeshare, which conveys only a right of use, here you own a genuine interest in the luxury villa and the land.

Your use through the year
Each owner enjoys around 44 days a year, a little over six weeks, on a rotating schedule across high, shoulder and low season. Our advanced booking system makes sure the special days too. Christmas, New Year, Thanksgiving are shared fairly among the owners, so the same person is never there for every occasion. And if you would like to stay longer each year, you can acquire an additional eighth share and extend your time accordingly.
One fixed, all-inclusive sum each year, covering:
– property taxes, insurance and the resort fee
– garden and pool maintenance
– booking system and management
– a maintenance reserve of 0.8% of the villa value
Value over time and rental
Because you hold a genuine ownership interest, you also share in the value of the villa. Real estate on Statia is scarce and protected, and the location is exceptional — should you sell your share later, you may benefit from any growth in its value. And in the periods you are not there yourself, you can have the villa rented through the resort, with the income going to the owners.
At the outset, an ownership group may agree among themselves to sell the villa after an agreed period, or on reaching a predetermined rise in value. This provides clarity from the moment of purchase and offers the possibility of recovering your investment, potentially with a gain on sale. It is not an obligation and happens only if the owners decide so unanimously. Your own share, of course, remains transferable at any time.
